Hey everyone. Sorry about my rant last time. I'm not closing. Not yet anyways, lol. I'm just busy right now and felt like I had too much. I do have a lot on my plate, but I'm handling it pretty well. So, I'm revamping my two sites. I think I know what I'm doing now. I just have to put it into place which is a lot of tedious work. I was going to do more, but this is enough for now. Maybe later I'll convert all my art into jpgs and put up lightbox. IDK. That's too much atm. Anyways, here's my latest. Constructive criticism is a must if you comment, and I would definitely appreciate it since I'm trying to improve. I think they're pretty good for screencap art, but I'm still thinking of not using screencaps anymore. They just seem to create such poor quality art, though these are some of my bests with caps. Revamps All Around

So, I'm getting really frustrated and overwhelmed with my fan site. Too many affiliates, fewer and fewer visitors, and nothing seems to be working right. No, I'm not closing lol. Sounds like it, doesn't it. But, I'm Revamping it while I'm revamping Dreams Await. I've decided only to revamp the art since that's what most people use anyways. If I can get wp to work there, I may put a link script in wp, and try to integrate coppermine. But for now, That's all I have time for. I'm going to start a great new job I just got in like a couple of weeks, and I have no time to do tons of revamps with that and school. Fortunately, it's part time. But, more hours during the summer when I have no classes. So, I decided to get the revamps out of the way now before I have no time. And, I'm also working a little on my blog site. So, I was wondering if anyone visits here, either? I've had a few comments here or there, but not many seem to comment. So, if this keeps up, I will close and still visit my lj friends. I update here and my site, so I don't see the point in both if I'm going to have less time on my hands. But, that depends on the next couple of weeks, lol. I do like my LJ, and I just put all this work into the mood theme and all. So, I'm still mulling it over. Most of my LJ friends don't visit, though I try to visit there site at least once a week. I don't always have anything to say. And, I apologize for that. Anyways, here's my latest art so far. I put it on my art site, but for the next couple of weeks, I'll put new art here while I revamp. It may not take that long, but at least people can see it. That's about it for today. So much to do. I'll post with a wall here soon.

Redo

I really need to upload some new icons, lol. Time's flown since my last post. I've been busy revamping Dreams Await after getting it a domain. It's here if you want to see it: dreamsawait.info. It's still a little rough around the edges, but I'm getting there. So, I'm redoing some of my art. I've already redone 2 pieces, but the first 2 below are new pieces. I'm trying to work on improving my art and making it more hq, so please let me know what you think. I have tried to make sure the text looks better and it's less pixeled or fuzzy might be a better word. I just did a great piece, but it pixeled all over the place and I had to delete it. I'm so pissed. I've used the screencaps form that site before, and those are blurry too. But, I found a better site. It still makes me mad because by the time I fiddle with a piece, it can sometimes take me several hours to finish it. That one did after starting over at a certain point trying to make the gradient maps look good and all. Oh well. Anyways, here's the latest. I will try to update within the next couple of days. I want to see what I can come up with later.

Cleaning Up Things

Hey. I just wanted to let you know that I cleaned up my friends someone what with people who never added me back. So, if I made a mistake, let me know so I can remedy it. If you want to be a friend, that'd be great. I'm thinking of making this a friend's only community, but I don't know if I want to yet. I'll decide later.

I'm making an online todo list, and the first thing is to finish the mood theme which I thought I had done and didn't and perhaps add some fresh new icons to LJ. I'll see. So, if earlier entries don't have any, that's why. I'm working to improve my layout technique, so next time I'll show you some screencaps of my latest and maybe a few walls and icons. Later.

Just a Walk in the Park

By now, being busy should be what the title says, lol. Well, I changed the theme. I hope you guys like it and the new name. So, I discussed doing manips last time. Well, here's what I was talking about. The other stuff was blended to look like it belongs. This was just playing around. Please don't use this. I'm just clarifying. I hate it, but it's a step in the right direction for a first time manipulator. Unless you count like psd created manips with overlaping, which I don't. Anyways, I'll try to finish that mood theme this weekend.

Manipulate Your Mind

I've been working to try to do manipulations. Hince the title. But, they haven't come out very well yet. I'll still work on it. Anyways, I did some AU art which is kind of my first major step. I haven't done AU art in awhile except 1 crossover. But, I love to go online and look at manipulations. They're very simple, but I will improve. I got inspired by a piece at No Bad News, and one is similar in a way. Please let me know what you think. I put a lot of effort into finding the right pics and all, but I was basically playing around anyways.

The Thrill of It All

I've decided to post because I haven't posted in so long. Anyways, I'm busy with my other sites and school and what not. I added a few icons to my art site, but I didn't have the chance to add them here. I might do that soon when I get all the ones I'm planning on doing done. But, I had some great ones and my computer freaked. I guess I had it on too long. And, I didn't have time to save. So, I have to go get them again. But, I'm not worried. I know the sites and everything. I redid the sidebar awhile back and had no time to update. It got too cluttered. So, I'm thinking of a new name for this journal. Emerald Secrets sounds too bloggie (is that a word, lol), and I want something more artsy or whatever. I'm down to a couple. After Valentine's, I'll put up a new theme. And, I'm going to add into my busy schedule to finish and redo this mood theme so I can share it. I really like the way it's turning out, and I want to create a new one. Maybe Alexis Bledel, Lauren Graham, or a show one. Maybe One Tree Hill related. Not sure. I haven't seen any One Tree Hill themes out there. I'll see.

What Was Once Lost is Found

The title is reflecting how I found the greatest link to show me how to get a glossy finish in my art. It's credited here (check picture). I list the credit because I didn't have the chance to post it on my site. Anyways, Here's what I came up with it. What do you guys think? I like the gloss effect on the left. Then again, the gradient map came out much better there. But, on the wall, it's too strong. But, the gloss did help. I'm debating reducing my gradient map for now on? I'm not sure. I am trying to learn how to work with stocks, and that's what you see in the wall. Anyways, Please don't use the banner without credit or distribute and don't use or distribute the wall. You know the drill. Perhaps I should make a credits spill and link it, lol. Anyways, please let me know what you think. The other wall is new, but don't use without permission. Just a Dream?

Ok, we won't go into the science fiction realm of possibilities of what I mean by the title, lol. But, I finished 2 i wanted to show you. I'm more pleased with one than the other, but I think I did pretty well on both. As for my other sites, Dreams Await just got a complete face lift and revamp. I may have mentioned that in my previous post. IDK, but it ate up a lot of my time. School's back in, but this is looking like an easier semester. But, I've figured that before and was wrong. Sorry guys. But, school's kept me so busy. Then, it was the holidays and moving a site. I just wanted to stop by and tell you I'm back. I'll probably be working on a new theme Monday and have it up over the week. Also, some new art. My new personal domain is http://endlessreflection.info if you want to visit it. I wouldn't even put a icon on this, but my site's set this way. I'm down because someone nominated my site for worst graphics. I mean, I thought I had improved leaps and bounds over the last few months. Maybe I was wrong. So, I have to rethink some things. Maybe I'll just do Live Journal for my art for awhile and just leave my art as an archive and do fiction. IDK what to do. I'm not saying I will. I mean, I love doing art. But, It's just a bad thing to hear people say. And, I had so many plans after revamping the site and changing the name and all. I may just blow this off and keep on going. Hey Guys. I know I haven't been on in awhile. It really sucks. But, I've been busy revamping Endless Reflection and becoming co-web of Toxic Kiss Designs. I'm closing my awards site which really sucks. Over the week I have to make the final awards and of course a closed sign. I also put a new layout up on Dreams Await. I'm anxious to get more done, but I have no time. I have a test later today, then I don't think I have anything major for about a week. That helps. So, I guess that's about it today. House, the tv show, is getting really stupid. So, I'm about to stop watching that. I did have a few ideas on fanart and fanfic for that, but I don't have the muse for it. But, that doesn't stop me from doing other things, lol. Here's 2 more pieces. That's bad when OTH reruns or more interesting. I'm thinking of trying to find some screencaps and doing some more CSI: Miami and NCIS pieces. But right now this seems to be my main source of inspiration. I know. Corny title, lol, until you realize that one of my pieces I'm displaying is about secrets. I'm in a fanart mood today after creating a piece I loved. Then, I stupidly saved the header as the wall and made myself mad. But, I did get some things accomplished today by fixing it and making a banner out of it and creating other art. I think pretty much everything is with a new technique that makes my art look better I think. Linked below are a combination of walls and banners. As always, please let me know what you think. I'm back online. Well, actually I never left, lol. I created this avatar for the heck of it. But, I'm relieved. We still have lights and air and everything important. But, there are still 2 storms out there, so we're not out of the woods yet. I'm happy we didn't have to leave though. So tomorrow I should open up my new personal site. It's ready, I'm just adding more link buttons and trying to get up the collective. That's about it. I'm thinking of putting a temporary premade on my collective until I can get one. Heat Wave

Not much fun. I hate the heat. It was so hot right after the storm without the air conditioner that I couldn't stand it. The guy on the radio brought up an interesting point. He said that we're spoiled to it basically. Could I live without an air conditioner? I think not. Some people in my state still don't have lights and work is their only solace. Ok, that's a commentary lol. I know I shouldn't do that here, but I missed that. Anyways, today is busy with school, work, and numerous other things. Hope I get them all done *sigh*.
